What is "SPARK"?

The original Texas State University SPARK Scholars Program was funded by S-STEM grant #1153688 from the National Science Foundation to "spark" interest in engineering and computer science. From 2013 to 2017, this program provided financial, career, curricular and co-curricular support to a cohort of young women interested in engineering, computer science, and mathematics. We express our deep appreciation to the National Science Foundation for its support of this important project in the College of Science and Engineering at Texas State.
